I purchased 3 RLC-422 cameras, and one RLC-423 camera.  I'm having them installed this Friday.  I set them all up on a RLN8-410 DVR.

The three 422 cameras are operating as expected.  The 423, not so much.  No image, nothing, just "VIDEO LOSS" on that channel.

The DVR has the firmware upgraded (Build 1607050 GA 3.1 and the Hw No. is H3MB02, Cfg version is v2.0.0.0), as do all the cameras.

I was able to upgrade the firmware on all cameras, even the 423, and it reported "success" for all of them.

I've tried other ports in the back of the DVR, same result.  The 422 cameras work just fine, but the 423 doesn't do anything.  The DVR sees it.

Why won't the 423 display an image?  It only shows "Video Loss"

Every minute or so, the 423 will make a complete circle, and the camera will pan up, then down.  Then it sits and does nothing again, until the next time is does that.

Hi, according your description it may caused by the output power of NVR(please kindly confirm you said NVR). For RLC-423, it require 22W for working. But your NVR has other 7 cameras and it cannot supply 22w for the RLC-423, so you can add a DC adapter to the RLC-423. Or add PoE injector for it.
