I have just purchased a 423 and am having trouble setting up a new pa*sword. It is the default blank. I have gone through the manual and all the menu options under 'Device settings' but find no help. Is there a way to reset it without rebooting the devise. I have set up a static IP address and other settings that I'd rather not have to change. Same question for a 411 that I would like to change the pa*sword for.
Hello, to change the Login pa*sword, please go to Device Settings > User > Manage User, choose the admin account and click modify pa*sword, you can change your pa*sword under that page.To reset the device, I'm afraid we cannot do that without rebooting the device, it will result in rebooting, and the settings configured on the router will also be lost, you'll need to reconfigure the device.Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
