Any Ideas on Camera Theft Prevention?

These cameras are expensive to replace. Anyone have any ideas on what they've done to prevent theft? My house is not tall enough to just put them out of reach. Anyone use motion sensors? I wonder if there is a way to trigger an alarm.

The key is to mount high enough or behind a theft resistant cage or barrier. Keep in mind you can only slow down a thief you can't stop one.
