my brand new RLC-822A did successfully connect to my synology surveillance station using ONVIF protocol.
Motion detection is configured to be based on camera setting.
Camera configuration has in surveillance - push notification alarm checkmark only for person and car.
But synology recognize motion still on any motion, although unset in configuration mentioned above.

What do i have to configure so that i get only person and car triggering motion

Sorry to tell you that this is related to the settings of Synology. If Synology does not support marking person and car, we cannot change these settings through the camera. You can consider directly using Reolink software to playback the person and car videos.

Thank you Cynthia for your quick response.

As it looks to me, Synology explicitly supports camera settings:

          Help text says:

Please make sure you have configured the related settings on the web-based interface of your camera before you enable this option

How can i make use of the person and car detection in the alarm settings menue?

For me it would be a great benefit to receive alarms reported by camera based on new AI feature.

The camera settings can indeed be synchronized to Synology. However, since Synology's own playback page does not support screening person/vehicle recordings, Synology can only playback any motion or 24/7 recordings. If you need this feature on Synology, you can make a request to Synology, and we will also feedback this need to Synology.
