I recently bought the 8CH PoE NVR with three RLC-422-P dome cameras, and one Reolink RLC-423.

Before installing everything, I felt it best to test each camera, and good thing, too, because nothing works as advertised. The NVR boots up to the Setup Wizard, and allows me to enter a password, but the "Next" button is dim, and won't let me past that screen. I can see the edges of the camera image behind the setup wizard, but can't get passed the wizard.

The HDD light is orange/red and blinking, so I assumed that maybe it's downloading from the internet, so I let stay connected for roughly 30 minutes, and nothing.

I've unplugged the power to the NVR, waited a few seconds, then plugged it back in.

      Any thoughts?

I hope this is just a minor glitch, and not indicative of the system overall. I can't even get passed a log in screen? Seriously....

Hi, please kindly check the Password and Confirm Password you input are the same in the Setup Wizard.
And the HDD light means it is recording.

The password and confirm passwords were identical, I have no doubt about that. I wasn't the only one entering it. I had a buddy enter it as well, same result. That wasn't the issue. I unplugged it, let it sit overnight, and plugged it in again, used the SAME password (it's the same one I used for years, is "complex" but not difficult) and it let me in.

I'm a little wary at this point that perhaps I've got a defective DVR. Nothing was changed, other than unplugging it over night.
