Can a hard drive larger than 4TB be installed

This is a really valid and significant question. The RLK16-410b8 has slots for up to 16 cameras. At 16 cameras 4TB is not a lot of recording time unless you use a low graphic setting, in which case you may as well get a lower end system elsewhere. I’m looking at 9-10 cameras for the system I’m envisioning, and as it is not possible to set only some of them to motion detection (it is all on motion or none on motion based on a different thread you all answered). With 4TB I can’t use all of those on full HD and expect to go away for a weekend.

Hi, we are planing to test a larger HDD recently.
For the motion detection, you can set some of them.
On NVR, please refer to follow pic:

Path is Menu->Alarm->Motion, then you can select the channel and enable or disable the Motion detection.
