I have owned my Reolink NVR system with mix of RLC-820a and D400 for about a year now. Trying to manage false or missed AI detections can be quite tiresome as day time and night (IR mode) require different sensitivity settings.

I currently use the sensitivity schedule but this needs to be constantly adjusted as the days/night change duration throughout the year.

What I feel the system needs is an option to set sensitivity settings for day mode and night (IR mode), rather than a time schedule. Any thoughts, agreements, disagreements, better suggestions?

We will release a new AI firmware for the RLC-820A soon. With this firmware, you can also set up "alarm delay", which means that you can set up the time that the object stays in the detection zone. The alarm will be triggered if the object stays in the detection zone longer than the set time. In this firmware, we will improve the algorithm of the detection.

Thank you for your suggestions on the separate sensitivity setting for day and night. I will forward it to the team for possibilities.
