      I updated my cameras to the RCL-510A. I set up motion detection zones, but it is still recording areas that are masked off. This did not happen with my 410S's. Please advise.

        Sorry that the RLC-510A cannot work with the motion detection area, so it will record areas that are masked off.

          That's absurd. My whole purpose in upgrading was to just record actual events on my property. I have no interest in recording every car that drives down my street. That defeats the whole purpose of receiving motion notifications and reviewing on-property footage of actual motion events. This needs to be fixed!

            At your website, https://reolink.com/us/product/rlc-510a/, it says Motion Zone IS supported.

            "Motion Zone
            You can customize the motion zone to your like, deciding where objects’ movements will be detected and where they will not."

              Sorry for the inconvenience. The motion zone can work for Motion detection, but it cannot work with the smart detection yet. We are working hard to make the motion zone work for smart detection, please wait patiently.
