      Hi,
I recently purchased some RLC-811A cameras and I'm going through the process of adding them to Surveillance Station.

I keep running into Authentication Errors: Unable to connect to camera. The credentials will be saved and authenticated again later.

Looking at https://community.reolink.com/topic/3333/rlc-811a-with-synology-surveillance-station, I did the following

      Update Firmware to v3.1.0.956_22042008
      RTMP Enabled 1935
      HTTP Enabled 80
      HTTPS Enabled 443
      RTSP Enabled 554
      ONVIF Enabled 8000

Rebooted the camera and Surveillance Station.

      Synology is on 192.168.40.62

Added camera manually, both ONVIF and Reolink RLC-811A: 192.168.40.247:80

The camera seems to work fine via the Reolink Windows Client. And I can log into the Reolink from a web browser at 192.168.40.247. I'm just not able to add it to Surveillance Station.

Any ideas or pointers to different articles would be appreciated.

      Thanks

        Hi,

You might want to check that the Synology firewall isn't blocking ingres traffic from your camera.

I am running SS 9.0 and rather than using the ONVIF protocol for my RLC-810a I selected my cameras manually. This gave me more options in regards to Smart events over ONVIF. Be sure to have the latest Device Pack (6.0.1-4402) installed in SS 9.0.
