Ability to choose what "common user" has access to

I would like to be able to allow common user to access and use the mic in the cameras for example. Or to not allow them to view playback. Ideally there would be a page with the permissions and you could tick which ones you want to have. Will this be possible?

+1 this would be so good. Different user access levels, with different rights.
