I'm new to the scene here, but have been spending a lot of time with my new Argus Pro cameras. I bought the wireless battery powered ones due to my unique setup requirements. Overall, I'm liking the apps and the cameras, and the functionality. They were easy to setup, mount, and get online - perfect for a novice. However, as a power user, I am frustrated my many of the same challenges others are raising:Lack of access to camera stream via http or rtspLack of 3rd party access (api, webhook, IFTTT, or otherwise)Lack of configurable motion detection zonesLength of PIR recording timeLack of Roku, AppleTV, or Firestick AppsOthers...It's not hard to have both: easy for the novice to use and support power users (we all know that if we mess it up - reset the device; if we drain the battery - shame on us). That said, it seems like your R&D department has its hands full with all sorts of requests, and in reading through the comments, has changed directions several times in the last few years.I've seen other organizations implement a voting system in their forums to help them prioritize their focus toward the needs of their community - perhaps Reolink could do the same?
I know on some models the motion detection can have zones masked, not sure if that is a universal feature of the battery cams or not.[br][/br]I know there is a Reolink app on the app store for Amazon Fire tablets, we were just discussing it in another thread here yesterday. I don't know if the Firestick can access the same app store or not (I'm not a user of the Fire line of products).
