Reolink go camera camera stopped working, I figured it was the sim card so I replaced. After replacing sim card I would get "Connection Failed" I rest camera but still same message. I pulled the sim card out and reinstalled it multiple times and now get "THE SIM CARD CANNOT BE RECOGNIZED" Battery is charged.
I hear the sim card Click when I start up camera but still no luck,
I have 2 reolink go camera's and the other one works fine, seems like the sim card on the broken camera is not correctly installed, the sim card is not "set"in camera. On the camera that works I push the sim card in and it stops on the broken camera I can push the sim card in and it keeps going and can move left to right ? Reolink tech has no answers ??Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@pmcgrinder_513088070992115 Insert the SIM in your smartphone and change the APN to that assigned to the SIM. Check that you are able to browse the Internet. This proves that the SIM is fine. If I recall correctly, the apn configuration for GO PT is in a text file which the customer has to create on the microSD. Kindly ensure that this file has not been corrupted. Check also that the microSD is still good. Maybe you can take both the microSD and SIM of the working camera and install them on the faulty one. If there is no APN setting the mobile module of the camera will not be able to communicate with the packet core (MME (CP)/SGW (UP)) of the mobile operator.

Thanks for your quick response, I forgot to mention that I did switch Micro sim & sim card into working camera and camera worked fine. Thanks again ! -
@pmcgrinder_513088070992115 Would you consider to swap both SIM and microSD between the cams? Do you know if the camera was subjected to a harsh environment? Can you verify that there is reception (connection failed) where the cam is installed?

I did swap both sim cards with no luck and both cameras are outside but I would not say harsh. When re installed sim card and put the battery back in I got a connection failed in the beginning but now get "the sim card cannot be recognized" -
@pmcgrinder_513088070992115 not just the SIM...both SIM and microSD. And after the swap remove and re-insert battery.

swap remove and re-insert battery.
I did that, no change Thanks !
