Re: Add my cameras that are connected to my NVR to Blue Iris

I have a test bed set up in my home office, which when I get it locked down and working will install around our small (vulnerable!) country Church; but I am having a terrible time trying to get cameras recognised by Blue Iris.

At the moment I have eight RLC-820A domes, one RLC-810A, one DUO POE (not a DUO 2), and am waiting on a delivery of an RLC-811A (5x optical zoom), connected to a new 16-channel NVR.
NB I currently have three plugged into the NVR - all work on the NVR, and on the PC browser to the IP Address 192.168.1.18.

The aim is to get full perimeter coverage with 4 domes, the DUO over the front car park, and the 810A down the side, and to use the 811A zoom to zero in on the vehicle license plates on the entry drive to the property. The NVR user interface is quite rudimentary, and I sadly discovered after buying all these items that virtually none of them will work on the REOLINK Cloud. I also want to implement some better AI and potentially automatic number plate recognition. Hence my trying Blue Iris.

I have also tried iSpy/Agent; and CameraFTP software, to no avail. I assumed the problem is in the NVR allocating internal IP addresses that were not visible on the outside world.

Until a few minutes ago I could only get one channel of a POE DUO working but after following Carl's advice in this older thread I got a small win - (and was pleased that I suddenly have both DUO channels/images no working) - but following the advice to the letter and manually changing the path /h264Preview_02_main - and _03_main, and _04_main, etc., for the other cameras adds a window with the date and time, but a 'Cam2: No Signal' message.

Can anyone help put me out of my misery? I have spent days and days on this!

      Many (many) thanks
      Neil.

Update: Managed to get the iSpy/Agent software to recognise all cameras on NVR using sub-channels. Still not ideal, but getting there
