@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Mostly attributed to the mobile RAN. Can I suggest you something? Pick the one which fails to connect and replace the SIM with that of another operator. Ensure that the 4G reception is good and there are no handovers to HSPDA or 3G as in this case the connection will drop.

One camera has a 3 way verizon att t moblie that camera has not failed, all others have a 2 way att/ t mobile today I swapped cameras and locations, will monitor, Thank You for the help What do you mean by no handovers? -
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 The mobile module integrated in the camera constantly measures the power level of the mobile signal and if it is lower than a threshold, it shall request either an intra-lte handover (change to another eNodeB) or an inter-rat handover to the MME (change from 4G to 3G). If you want the details and signalling flow I can provide :). This is mobile packet switching.

Interesting ! , yesterday two cameras failed to connect , so I reset one of them and it said connection made at the camera , It still failed to connect to he app even though the camera said it had made connection. About two hours later both cameras became accessible through the app. Regardless of the fact one was manually reset and one not.' is this a problem with reolink app? or eiotclub or something else. I have ordered some three way sims to try , Thank You for your help , reolink responds but has not been very good at solving the problem -

@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Yeah, mobile CS and PS signalling is complex especially when coupled with VOLTE which requires IMS. Reset means that a new data session has been established and Reolink P2P servers were provided with the IP of your camera. When you run the Android Reolink application, it will query these P2P servers (around 8 around the world) and get the IP of the camera. Then the application will establish communication directly with the camera using this IP. Note that the IP of the camera changes since the operator will not allow the data session between their core and the SIM to be more than 12 hours........and so the mobile has to re-establish this data session. If this is not established say due to reception issue then the P2P server will not be updated with the new IP. However, the application will be trying to establish with the old IP. The fact that sometimes they reconnect I see that this is a mobile radio access network (RAN) issue in that area. To determine this one has to do tracings at the mobile operator side which you will never get unless you are responsible of the operator mobile network :). If it is a camera issue (and two) then you won't ever connect.
Before I would have ordered two SIMs, I would have swapped the SIMs between the failed camera and the one which never failed. Of course ensure that the radio criteria is identical at both locations or place the failed camera near the one which never failed but with SIM swapped. -

I did swap one that has failed with one that has not , the one that has not failed has a 3 way Verizon/ A TT / T MOBILE all others 2 way A TT / T Mobile Did that yesterday no failures ,It is random , sometimes they are mostly good for a long period of time , this last issue started Jan 1 , a month of problems last year sept oct nov dec minor isolated outages -
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Thanks for the update. Keep monitoring. I assume that they are in the same area. Even when your mobile is on a table it can change routing areas .
