Is there any possibility that Reolink will start to manufacture automotive dash camera units?

If Reolink moves into that area, here's some of my "wishlist" features for such a system.

Personally, I'd like a system where a NVR with battery backup could be placed under the seat or in the trunk of the vehicle. Ideally, the system would have wifi and bluetooth, but also retain the option to be plugged directly into a network (for speed advantages, large downloads, and possible use for home or static installations).

A modular battery system, to allow users to chain batteries together if they anticipate being away from the vehicle for a long time. Ideally something that uses a housing for standard old school lead acid 12v batteries (not full sized car batteries, although inputs for that would also be a nice feature, but batteries like the 7ah or 18ah units). Then, of course, having the hardware required to keep these batteries topped up on power while the car's engine is running. Also, solar panel options to suppliment battery life. I realize this "feature" is a product market that encompasses a whole new line of hardware, but I'm wishing here.

Multiple hard drive capabilities (micro SD cards, or muliple 2.5" SSD).

Software that would allow scheduled data transfers either uploaded to a home network, or copied onto a removeable SD card. Ideally activated at vehicle shutdown when within the range of home wifi. Perhaps a remote mounted SD card, so user would not have to go to the trunk of the vehicle to obtain the drive. Additionally, perhaps a USB port next to the SD card slot to allow a user to connect a phone for data transfers. A "panic button" feature that would instantly download recent videos to the SD card in the remote bay (or connected phone) would be a nice feature as well. Lots of dashcams have terrible user interfaces.

Camera options for interior, front, side mirrors, back, even down the side of the vehicle (such as Tesla cars). I imagine most users would be fine with 4 cameras, but the possibility of a 8 channel unit would certainly have a market.

Make sure video recordings will have options for cloud storage and the like, but do not make it a requirement. My wife's car has a Garmin system and I regret purchasing it due to the terrible user interface (on Android). Downloading videos from it is a nerve wracking experience. My truck has a Xtrons dashcam and pulling the SD Card is a huge pain.

Anyway, thank you for reading this. I've been very impressed and happy with the performance of my Reolink products. Any customers reading, please add other ideas or information about experiences with existing dashcam systems.
