Can't enable FTP upload from Reolink client. Camera model is RLC-510WA/410W. It seems that latest firmware is there, camera was bought just recently.

I am sure that many users had problems with blocked FTP port, has anyone tried alternative ports (990, 3021, 3990) and succeeded, or does default port (21) have to be unblocked?

My FTP server works fine, but connection from camera doesn't work, most likely because of local network firewall policy.

I am sure there is already an answer on this forum but I didn't find it...

@user_704954384928963_704954384928963 Mine works fine on port 21. Is your FTP server running on Windows or another OS? Mine is on a NAS now, but it worked on Windows as well. Does your FTP server show any connection error in logs?

@user_704954384928963_704954384928963 First you need to establish whether the camera is using FTP or FTPS. You can check this by capturing a wireshark trace or check the logs at the server side.

In case of FTPS, TCP handshake uses TCP port 21 if it's an explicit connection and TCP port 990 if it is an implicit connection. For SSL handshake the server can negotiate a port for passive or active transfer. Passive transfers are on TCP port 3000 to 3050. Active transfers are on TCP port 20. Reolink cameras support only the explicit connection.

You may install Cerberus ftp server (trial version) on your PC and check this out.
