Can the Argus 2 be used to view through a PC using Windows or must I only use the phone app?

I have the Reolink client for Win10 and I'm able to view the camera on my desktop via the client.

Another question concerning using the Argus 2 on a PC. Can it be viewed through a browse such as Firefox or Chrome?

Scott from Reolink support says that there is no browser support for battery-powered cameras, which includes the Argus 2. I've asked why, but as yet have had no response.

This is a shame if not supported/never will be supported. I have two owl boxes to place these cameras in that I'd like staying guests to be able to easily view, without installing an app or some software on their PCs.

Hopefully there will be a workaround/solution in the very near future.

Also, cloud support in the UK. There is none! I'm toying with OneDrive/Google drive folders at the moment as a workaround, but it's not ideal.

Come on Reolink - let's have a chat!

Agreed, most other cams can be browser viewed. Is it because of the battery drain to keep it in "ready" mode? If so perhaps the solar recharge is a good reason to purchase that option.

I'm currently using the solar panel option and it's working really well. Really, really want this browser bit to be sorted out. If it's a truly technical thing then fair enough, but even then there could be a workaround.

I'm using iSpy open source security software. All my cams except Reolink can be viewed through this app. This allows me to see all my cams at one time without having to open several programs. If I had thought that the Argus 2 did not have this capability I may have re-thought my buying decision.
