      It would be good if there were an option to have saves to FTP automatically create subfolders, with, say, a yyyy-mm-dd format... or better yet, user specified format based on common naming scripts ie: "your text here"&yyyy-mm-dd&"texh here if you wanted"

        Thanks for your suggestion. But the default format for the file name cannot be changed. You may change the file name only after they have been uploaded onto your FTP server.

          We are learning the foibles of the RLC-511. Really like the zoom to 30-degree field of view.

          YES to the idea of "FTP automatically create subfolders ... yyyy-mm-dd format".
          Variations of that are pretty much standard with every other cam I have used.

          And the local storage of mp4 is bizarrely mmddyyy, meaning that when 2018 became 2019 the old year came AFTER the new year in the folder ...
