In playback, how do I fast forward on reolink pc client?
Hi muckluks, we have no fast forward button in the PC Client now. But you can check it by move your mouse on the playing progress bar.
Sorry, reolink client can not do fastforward, which is made as the same as other commom online video players, like Youtube.
I strongly believe this should be a future feature!Yes you can move to certain times, but you have to jump around a lot to pin point a time frame if you are looking for something particular. I would like to be able to watch the whole night/day in a quick playback, or even just a few hours. Have different speed options like x2, x5, x10 or something maybe.
I don't know what that means. maybe you can explain like I'm five.I am recording based on motion sense. why, on playback, cant I skip ahead from event to event?
dlatch what dont you understand?Playback my system automatically takes you to the next event after one event finishes. You can also skip to the events manually if needed using the mouse on the desktop client or by scrolling in the mobile app.dlatch you are wanting a skip to the next event button to make it easier if I am understanding correctly? This thread is about the speed of playback, like fast forwarding through commercials on your TV.
Agreed - fast playback (at a variety of user-selectable speeds) is an absolutely essential capability for any NVR PC client. The process of having to "hunt" for an event is simply too laborious, tedious and time-consuming to be practical in real-world usage. It was shocking to discover that the Reolink PC client does not have this capability, and it is the primary reason I find myself unable to recommend Reolink to others. Here's one example of how it is viewed as a fundamental capability: https://www.itech-ny.com/blog/bid/283101/Can-I-Fast-Forward-Through-My-Surveillance-Camera-System-FootageHikvision has it, Reolink should also have it.
navaratx, Yes I want playback event to event skip ability. To easily review what is recorded, from the client software at least. The NVR is in a ventilated closet. My windows 10 PC is on the same LAN.I would settle a step by step narrative on all the steps needed. I will go struggle with manual now but some help here would be good.
Is there a manual for the Client??I only see manuals for the NVR and for the Cameras.
Convert to AVIMy client local settings, general, does not have that option. What version should I be using?FYI my PC is windows 10. Are there any know issues using windows 10?
