Manual documentation does not appear to be up-to-date?

I just downloaded and installed the latest versions of my RLC-423 firmware and Reolink Client software. The manual does not seem to match what is shown on the display. I had had numerous interactions with the very friendly Reolink support group. But several months have passed and severely needed improvements at least in the documentation have not shown up. In particular I am interested in finding information on how the PTZ controls work, and associated cruise control, etc. Am I missing something?

In previous versions I suffered many Reolink Client crashes. My network is very stable in all other regards (with other IP cameras, power controllers), so I cannot really believe that the cause of these problems is related to network problems.

Any ideas or suggestions?
