          Hi Kjeld

I'm a Linux user and I've set up my RLC-411WS not mainly for surveillance purposes but to be able to show weather at my summer cabin. I'm recording 15 secs of video every 15 minutes using ffmpeg software on a small Linux PC (Zbox Nano ID67) running Ubuntu 16.04. From the video I'm also extracting one jpg image used for showing on my Weather station page (needs Flash plugin).

All videos can be seen at http://www.wenchebo.no/Weather/video/cam01/

There is currently only a directory listing of all files but I'll make something more fancy later. I'm also concatenating all the 15 min videos just after midnight and at the same time reducing resolution and framerate in order to create a daily timelapse video also using ffmpeg.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

          Best regards, vennlig hilsen

          Per.
