Mac Client - No motion event (alarm) on timeline

I've configured the motion detection schedule under the alarm section for 24/7 yet I'm not seeing an "alarm" on the playback timeline. I am continuously recording and I'd like to see motion events on the timeline. I can see these if I use the DVR client or Windows client but can't seem to get it working with my Mac.

Not an answer to this specific issue sorry, however I did want to post here that the new Mac client also appears to show the camera's content darker than the previous version did; in both the multiple preview or single camera views. I was also wondering if others saw this or if it is just the new darker background causing it as an optical illusion. I tried to modify the contrast and brightness, but the video stream still seems much darker than what was shown in the older version of the Mac Client.

For Mac client, you may also choose the recording type among “alarm”, “manual” and “schedule”, refer to the picture attached. or our reply #18201 to your another pos.

Would you please provide us screenshot(s) of the streaming on previous and current Reolink client if possible? so we can see the comparison and better assist you.

secondly, is it only the streaming that seems darker? how about the recording/snapshot?
what's more, any changes on the camera setting or encode setting after the Mac client upgrade?

Thanks for the update and extra requested screenshot details. When I did a side-by-side comparison of the old and new, they look the same. I think it is a combination of the darker background that may be tricking my eyes and that we now have snow on the ground which may be making the camera look darker due to the white reflective background.

No motion events will show up under alarms unless I turn 24/7 recording off and just record on motion. I'd like to be able to record 24/7 and see motion alarms on the timeline.
