I received the RLC-411WS. I connected it to my router with the ethernet cable and set it up. It all fired up fine and the camera connected. After that, I did not set up any log in or password info...I just left that stuff to do later.I also put the APP on my Iphone and got it working also.I unplugged the camera and set it up outside with a power connection. Now it still works on my Iphone, but when I fire up the client app on my windows computer, it wont connect to the camera. The program fires up, but when it tries to log into the camera I keep getting the same error message, "log in failed, incorrect username or password. I am not able to set up motion sensor zones or settings or access any settings for the camera because it wont log in to the camera. It worked at the beginning !Note : I uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice. It automatically remembered my camera and I did not need to add a device.WHAT SHOULD I DO ??
This is the error note everytime I fire up the program now. It accepts the password I assigned for the program when I log in...the only other password and log in I assigned was for the APP on my iPhone. Not sure what its talking about with that message. It was working fine when I initailly set it up and had it plugged into my router with an ethernet cord.I installed the most recent version of this program 7.2.2.10IMG_0841-2.jpg
A few things you can try to correct this. First, I would use the RESET button on the camera to put the device back into the factory state. Go back and plug it into an Ethernet cable to configure it from the start. Make sure you assign a User and Password for the device, you will use this when the client tries to connect. I would also make sure you are running the latest firmware on the device as this can make a difference in client/camera communication. You also need to be assured that where you are placing the camera has strong wireless connectivity. If you bring the camera back inside closer to your Wireless access point (AP), does the client connect over wireless? Is your wired and wireless networks the same subnets, same IP ranges or different networks?
