@aaron this would be great, another thing that would be useful along these lines is a combined alert and/or alert suppression with degrees of severity. So say one camera detected motion for 1 second in a small portion of the detection area, this could be a low severity alert, whereas if 3 cameras all triggered for 5 seconds combined that could generate a high severity alert.
Hi, I’ve recently installed Poe cameras and trying to tune down the sensitivity of the motion detection and I’ve noticed something happening on one of my cameras. The one pointing into my back garden doesn’t really trigger so I know that the sensitivity is ok, but tonight I noticed that rain is detected as streaks of light (maybe a nearby light cashes this effect) when it’s dark, so it went off quite a few times due to the rain being heavy.Maybe this would be better developed in the API so it can be combined with a weather app or rain sensor through a home automation system, but it would be good to automatically turn down the sensitivity at night time when it’s raining and turn it back up when it stops
