@reolink-fiona @reolink-fiona Thanks Fiona. This doesn't seem to be about my problem. I don't want to view the cam at the same time (and even if so, then this should be possible on the fluent stream which I am using to save bandwidth). What I want is that the configuration/setup remains and is not being reset as soon as I add the camera on another Apple device. Is this a bug in the camera software or the iOS apps?
I want to view my Reolink Go camera from both an iPad and an iPhone device (using the latest version of the OS and the app on both of them). However, when configuring the app on one device, the configuration/setup of the camera is reset on the other device, meaning I have to completely go through the setup process again. Is it not possible to use the cam with more than one iOS device?(Note: I can use the Windows app at the same time without that problem, so it is possible to use the cam with multiple clients at once).
Thanks again, Fiona! The 4G signal is strong (it shows with 4 bars in the Windows client) and the regular stream works well. I'm not sure how I would access the log file on iOS as there is no direct access to the file system. What I noticed is that the option for configuring scheduled email alerts (as shown in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004189434-How-to-Set-up-E-mail-via-Reolink-App) is missing in my app. This article applies to all camera models, so I'd expect the option to be there also for the Reolink Go model, but it isn't and I'm on the latest version of the iOS app.Is it not possible to configure scheduled alerts for the Reolink Go?
@reolink-fiona Thanks for your help, Fiona, that really looked promising. However, I wasn't able to get this working. When I set up a timelapse as by the help article, the app will often no longer be able to connect to the camera while the timelapse recording is ongoing, sometimes there is no connection at all possible, sometimes the camera just shows a grey image. At the end of the timelapse recording, there are either no pictures taken, or there are only grey pictures. In no case there are emails sent out with an image attached, although emails are configured to be sent with pictures attached. Do you have any ideas what might be the problem here?Edit: fyi email configuration is done properly, and test messages sent by the cam are received. I figured, the unresponsive camera might be related to a "too short" intervall. Everything with intervals in the seconds to minute range seems to overload the camera. Could that be the case? But why are no images taken then?
I have a Reolink Go and I want to use it to regular get an image from the location I monitor (every hour) and put that image somewhere where it can be further processed.I'm looking for options that would allow me to
An API seems only available for devices with a public IP address, which the Reolink Go doesn't have, and I also didn't find any option to integrate with an FTP server or cloud service (I live in Germany should that matter)I noticed that the Reolink client on Windows is an Electron app, so I guess there should be a way to access the cam using some API, but that doesn't seem to be documented. Are there any options I could achieve what I want? Any help is welcome.
