@mailforout_514300689522859 Hi there, our FTP supports FTPs first now. If you disable the FTPs only button, the camera will try to use the FTPs to connect first. If your server supports the FTPs, you can check if your FTP server has configured TLS. If your server doesn't support FTPs, it will go to a plain FTP connection.
Hi, I am using a desktop computer as the FTP server. I'm not sure what you are suggesting I try to do to fix this. Are you saying I should disable the FTPs only button to get this to work? And where do I find the FTPs only button if I need to disable it? I do see I have a setting in Filezilla that says "Enable FTP over TLS support (FTPS) I have this unchecked at the moment, so do I need to put a tick in the check box and enable this, or do I leave it unchecked? I have also noticed the FTP does still work if I just ignore the test error message and click save instead. Please Advise!
I am using FTP FileZilla Server 0.9.57 beta and the latest firmware and software client for my Reolink E1 Zoom camera's on Windows 10. I setup the FTP again on my computer after a windows reinstall, but unlike with the Reolink version 8.52, which I never had a problem with. I have found all the new updates have broken the FTP for me. Since updating the firmware for my camera's to the latest versions for windows 10. Everytime I try to connect to the FPT server with the correct details and press test. I get an error that reads 454 connection failed. Please check your network connection. What should be a 5 min job has taken me all day trying to fix without success. I tried to go back to client 8.52, but now the video stream just flashes in the windows client when I try that. The only thing I see that changed on the new client is it used to say "Upload directory" and it now says "Remote Directory". Not sure what that is, but where it said "Upload Directory". I just used to put a forward slash in there / like I had seen on a YouTube Video. Can someone please help out because the camera's are no good to me without FTP working. I'm back upto date with the client because like I say the old version just makes the stream flash now.
