@daservices-usa_295488157241547 That worked, thanks. For the record, the Reolink Go Plus can send an email notification including a photo to you SMTP enabled email address, that forwards the message to a Pushover email address, and then the Pushover servers communicates with the Pushover app on your phone, that displays the photo. The lag is maybe 5-10 seconds in addition to the Reolink Go Plus push message notification. What does not work; the Reolink Go Plus photos are not included in the Reolink app calendar, they appear simply to be lost (but can be found on your SMTP enabled email address). Image quality is pretty low about 400kB, and timestamp and camera name are not included.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Yes the Keen Ranger PT looks good, but its another price point compared to the majority of trail cameras. Thanks.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Yes, what I look for is for the push message notification to include a photo. This is basic functionality in a trail camera, so it appears the Reolink Go Plus cannot replace a trail camera at this point. However, I searched your website and found the link below, stating "We plan to add thumbnails to push notifications in a future update. Stay tuned!" This was close to a year ago. Does this mean we will have push message photo after all?To my limited knowledge, a push message including a photo appears to be a minor tweak alongside all the other advanced functionality of the camera.https://community.reolink.com/topic/2895/add-snapshot-picture-to-push-notifications
Hi I just bought the Reolink Go Plus to replace my old trail camera. I am very impressed with the overall functionality, but I can not get it to send a photo to my phone when it detects a movement. I am a bit confused, can the Reolink Go Plus do this?
