I recently abandoned another vendors product line after they finally released long-delayed new cameras that ended up not working with their excellent app. These new cams were also a huge step back in technology. So, I bit the bullet and installed a PoE based system, switch, and an NVR to replace the cloud based storage which was also poorly supported with ex-vendors new products.I'm sure you have a number of people who are coming over to Reolink based on similar experience.Anyway, I would like the ability to scrub though the video stream on playback. It would be great if the App (iPhone, MAC) allowed you to scrub through video both forward and backward with an input pointer (mouse, pen or finger). That way I can get to alarms and scrub back and forth to analyze the stream. We had gun shots in our neighborhood and I wanted to analyze the stream and quickly forward and reverse if something looked interesting. Also, some form of geostreaming would be great. Both Android and Apple has the ability to share location information. It would be wonderful if I could set up alert profiles for "Home" & "Away". Thanks for listening....
Hear hear! This feature is absolutely needed. At night, when I do want alerts, I need to turn down the sensitivity so low, I'm sure it would not detect a person in my back yard. Even if I can have a feature to "Ignore X number of sequential events before triggering alarm", this way when a bug flys by, it will ignore it as opposed to a person, who is probably going to be on camera longer.
@reolink-fiona Thanks for the pointer to setting up scene modes. It looks like a decent framework and once you do support geofencing it would fit right in as a way of switching between home and away without the need to do it manually.Instead of doing through a detailed explanation I've attached a screen capture video to demonstrate something that is very common. Any of your engineers or product managers who deal with video will get it.Thanks
@schonuf Thanks this it a perfect illustration of scrubbing.... The current ability methods to search are almost unusable. Adding a 15 sec skip forward, skip back would even be a useful feature.
@reolink-fiona Well.... it says I don't have enough "privileges" to be able to upload. Nor can I put a link into the response. *sigh*
