I have 2 Macs each running Ventura 14.1.1One is a MacPro 2019 w/ Intelother is MacBook Pro with M1 chip--I have the macOS Reolink application - the recent update to 8.13.1 and I have two major issues1 - most of the time with I QUIT the Reolink application it actually crashes and I get "The Reolink has unexpectedly quit" and do I want to report, reopen or ignore. Not a big irritation as I was done with the app but this is a NEW issue due to the update.2 - I have a Reolink Floodlight (no camera) and the new app say "This device is not supported yet" - what happened???3 - Due to an issue with a DoorBell POE sending me 40 "motion detected" emails an hour I did a factory reset. On the laptop I then provided the required new password. Not I cannot get signed into the DoorBell POE on my MacPro. Says password not correct. I already DELETED it from the Reolink App on the MacPro. The app then sees it but still won't allow me to sign in.None of these were issue with the previous release of the Reolink application for macOSPlease advise.
I've purchased 2 of the Reolink Floodlight PoE for my home. I want to be able to manually turn them in with a simple button on the Live View display on my MacBook. For when I have company arriving after dark.I know the iOS app has a button for this but I my MacBook is always at hand and I seldom use my iPad.And I also know I could use my MacBook and burrow down to the "Light" and set "Always On" for the lights. Still NOT as simply as it could be if you would add a "Flashlight" icon on the Live View page. Also a question as I know when I turn on the spotlights of my RLC-832A cameras they turn OFF after a few minutes. Q: if I manually turn on the Floodlight in the iOS app - does the Floodlight turn OFF after a delay?thxqb
Wow - thank you for the quick answers. All was looking good until the "no" answer to ONVIF support question. Kind of a killer, IMO.thank you again.
Oh and two moreQ: are other brand cameras supported?Q: is the NVR ONVIF camera compliant?
Specs mention there are 2 SATA Slots. Q: so I can install 2 SATA Drives?Q: is RAID (specifically MIRRORING) supported?Max Capacity of 8TB is mentionedQ: is this PER SATA SLOT or is does this mean a limit of two 4TB drives???Nothing is mentioned about MAXIMUM RECORDING RESOLUTION vs number of camerasQ: Can all 16 cameras with 4MP resolution be recorded at full resolution at the same time?thank you
