Hi! When can we expect that AI detection enabled cameras will have a proper third party alarm propagation capabilities? I want to connect it to Home Assistant using github -> fwestenberg/reolink_dev/, but proper operations is not possible without Reolink's actionsI know that there is Basic Notification Interface but it is buggy, does not support https and AI detection. It's a blocker for me to extend the Reolink's fleet, and definitely a blocker to those who are looking for new surveillance smart home solution
@Reolink-Fiona Any updates in this topic? Can we expect new firmware ?
I'm strongly de-recommending anyone who's interested in buying Reolink cameras and wants to integrate it with third party tools like Home Assistant. Alarms are not propagated and camera are not integrating well. ️ Reolink is not integrating well with Home Assistant! ️
When can we expect web-hooks ?
@reolink-fiona this api is not enough. it does not have capability to register a https webhook to be triggered when AI detect an event. This api allow to pull the device state but this is not enough - it causing events to be lots what is not acceptable!
@reolink-fiona This API is not complete and does not allow to implement basic surveillance workflow - react on detection alert Yours commercial says Make Security ... , but how we can even say about security if you API is not able to inform about such core think like person or vehicle detection.
@reolink-fiona This issue has been already submitted to you a few times, by support ticket and this forum - and nothing has ben done. How the team reacted for this request? Will and ween it be implemented ?
awesome, let me know if you need a beta testers!
@reolink-fiona any updates in this topic ?
@Reolink-Lorenz the feature that @tenback_266134903410848 is asking is really important for a big group of people that uses reolink cameras for smart-home automatizations, and would be definitely and argument for those who are searching for new solution for their homes.I also voting for it
Any chance for webhooks for reolink cameras?
@reolink-lorenz Do you know when this new firmware will be available i have three RLC-820A IPC_523128M8MP and the lates version is v3.1.0.956_22041501 Apr. 18, 2022 Updated ?
@watson_455618418065656 Did you confirmed that all AI detection are received by HA?With the current state of firmware for my camera rlc-820a it does not always happens because of the pull not push model implemented, what sukcs because you can miss important event - like burglar
@jonas_3602 No news, Reolink is not a good chose when it comes to Home-Assistant integration
https://community.reolink.com/topic/3291/third-party-integration-support-ai-detection-home-assistant/53?page=3 there is not updates about the web-hooks for a long time
@reolink-fiona each event type corresponds to a different url. But to make this solution reusable (could be used in different integrations) please add in body of the POST request those informations:camera-nameuidevent-typeevent-timeIs there a chance that those events would be propagated to mqtt? PS. it is crucial that webhook will be able to call https URL's
