Newb question. I am looking for the best way to install security cameras in my detached garage that will work with the cameras I plan to install at the house. I have two cat 6A wires ran to the garage. One wire is for internet in the garage and it goes from a router in my house to a router in the garage. I plan to install 3 cameras in the garage and there are three ports available in the garage router. Can I hook the cameras up to the router in the garage? Or would it be best to wire the cameras to a poe switch and use the 2nd cat 6 wire back to the house where the NVR will be? Thanks for any advice!
