Good afternoon again CynthiaNo response to that I see - luckily I have a friend with a ladder who is being helpful - I just hope others are not in a similar situation. Why this strange design?
Good morning again, CynthiaPlease note this is not an inconvenience, it is an absolute bloody pain.Putting up scaffolding to reach these cameras would cost twenty times the cost of each camera in each case, so is not a question of just being careful it is a question of bashing the bank account which I am absolutely not going to do.I am completely frustrated that a device that I can see in a web browser from its fixed IP address cannot be accessed in any other way and cannot be reset remotely
Good morning,I just realised that there was a link in your original reply where it says "Press the Reset button and hold on, then power on the camera while pressing the Reset button."That reset button seems to be on one of three leads coming out of the camera?I cannot really remember if my camera really has three leads, but it has only has one lead coming through the wall being the power over IP feed which connects to our network
Good morning CynthiaSorry indeed! That will need scaffolding.Do you mean that there is a physical reset button on the back of the camera? Is this button hidden when you screw the camera onto the wall? Please note I can gain access to the power supply the cameras from the inside of the premises so I can power cycle them very easily. Is there any information on the packaging for the cameras that would help?
Good morning CynthiaThank you for that - as it seems my hardware does not begin with with IPC_51516M, I have to wait for new firmware release. But where is the latest version for my camera so that I can check I do have that version?
Can somebody point me to the most recent firmware upgrade for the RLC 420?I have downloaded something that looks like firmware but the cameras do not recognise it
We have two RLC 420s that we view from a Windows PC and also from a mobile phone. For some reason our password records have gone missing and we have one camera that we can login to although we do not know what the password is and the other camera we cannot log into at all because the password has disappeared completely. Is there any way to reset the cameras so we can set the passwords up again? And I hope this does not involve physically getting to the cameras as they are very high up on the walls in which they are set!
Can somebody remind me where I set the details for saving video in the reolink client?I have version 7.2.2.20 hereAlso can somebody tell me why when the client is recording on 16 November the latest date folder that I can see in where I have it saved dated in the folder title "11142018" and that folder contains no files for 16 November when it is clearly recording?
I'm having some troubles operating my security cameras front and back of my office. The cameras do not seem to be recording to any sensible folder names?A folder dated today for example seems to be named for almost 2 weeks ago?How does this work usually? And because of this I've no idea whether it is recorded an incident I need some record of without wading through possibly two or 305 minute videos
Ignore me - found it
