I recently bought a RLC-823A camera to hook up to my Reolink NVR. It only came with a Quick Start guide and not a manual. Is there a manual avaialble that describes all the functions, how to configure them and use them? I connected it briefly to the NVR to make sure it works and there are many settings not explained anywhere, like in the PTZ menu etc. Also, during my test I could see the video image on my NVR monitor when in 8 screen mode but when I selected it to go full screen, all I saw was a black screen. I will be installing it permanetly in the next couple weeks (via POE).
I currently have a RLK8-800B4 system and all channels are in use. I would like to add a ninth camera with the following criteria, best recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you
Having trouble getting this to work. Example: I have Camera 4 (front door) set up to send alert and record motion 24hrs a day. I enable "Trigger" for camera's 1, 2 and 3 but when I test by setting off an alert for Camera 4, I'm not getting any video capture for camera's 1, 2 and 3. Is there some specific configuration they must be in for trigger to work? Currently those three camera's are not set to record and do not have motion enabled (too much environmental motion). What am I missing?
The manual is a bit unclear, it mentions 4 TB but is that total for the entire system (aka 2TB internal and 2 TB external) or is it a max of 4TB external for a total of 6TB (2TB internal and 4 TB external)? Also, I see WD makes a specific drive for Security video recording (the purple model) but that's an internal drive only. Are there any recommended external drives suitable?
I have 5 POE cameras and 2 wifi cameras. Sometimes when I open the mobile app on either a iPhone or iPad, the wifi camera’s show up multiple times. It’s very random, at times just the two show up, others maybe one of the two are duplicated or sometimes both are. Their location in the 9 pane view is random too. Thoughts?
Having a gmail setup issue. I created a gmail account for the NVR to set alerts from. The ”test” function seems to be making it out on the internet but I get the following email from gmail. Any ideas on how to have gmail (aka Google) allow it?”Someone just used your password to try to sign in to your account from a non-Google app. Google blocked them, but you should check what happened. Review your account activity to make sure no one else has access.”
Never mind, I figured it out.

Regarding the RLN8-410, for the monitor connected directly to it, does the NVR have a screen saver function or do I have to turn the monitor off when not in use? The NVR and Monitor will be in a wiring closet, I will mostly be using the Windows client software to monitor the camera's.
So I purchased the RLK8-800B4 system, the NVR that comes with it per "System Information" is a RLN8-410. So based on your post Cynthia, even though the bundled system came with 4K camera's the NVR supplied with it doesn't support 4k?IMG_6661.jpeg
I recently purchased the RLK8-800B4 system and I have an existing indoor camera (another brand). Can I add a Reolink WiFi camera (E1 Zoom) to the NVR that came with the RLK8-800B4 and get rid of the other brand stand-alone? They (NVR and E1 Zoom) would ultimately be on the same local network.
I recently purchased the RLK8-800B4 system and a few of my runs will be longer than the supplied ethernet cables. Should I get Cat6 or Cat6A cable? Is a cable with a drop (aka ground) wire needed? Trying to avoid spending half of what I paid for the system in additional bulk cable but I also want to do it right.
