This sounds like a good idea. I guess the camera also has some kind of internal temperature sensor? That, coupled with visually identifying smoke, could turn it into a neat feature.Kind regards,
Thank you! This is highly appreciated. I was looking for this level of details for a long time! How should the following be interpreted?
Does this mean that the brightness is in range of 1 to configured brightness, or it is up to 1 minus configured brightness?Kind regards,
How would you like to search for detected people events? By attributes like clothing, height, etc.?Attributes would be very helpful. Also, face detection for the household & perhaps friends. Imagine "family member detected" or "friend detected". And if the face is detected, "John detected".Should we add options to search for vehicles by brand, color, etc.? Are categories like bicycles, motorcycles, buses, SUVs, sedans, trucks, and pickups enough?Brand, color and definitely category. Also, license plate recognition would be nice. Imagine "foreign car detected" and "personal vehicle detected" (if wife is driving)Are there any specific animals you’d like us to detect? Most common pets. Imagine "pet detected" and "wild animal detected". maybe also specify the type of animal in the detection. What are your detection needs for daily home life (e.g., baby monitors, elderly care, bird feeders)? For me, it is a security system - so surveillance.Kind regards,Ciprian B.
@dmraci_171114412765346 You don't really need "any motion". I have turned it off on all of my cameras - I don't see what use it could have in real life applications. The vehicle, animal and person detection are very good though. Try to use those.Kind regards,
Hi. What does the "spotlight brightness" actually adjust? From my tests, it seems to be the "maximum brightness" when spotlight is manually turned on. Is this correct? In "smart mode" it just says "adjust spotlight brightness according to ambient lighting". This is not correct. Changing the slider when the smart mode is on, without detection, does not influence the brightness. Also, I reached out to support by email and after several back & forth exchanges, their explanation was "it changes the spotlight brightness" Why is it set at 10% by default? Any issues on setting it to 100%?The Desktop app can get it down to 1% but the android up only down to 10%. (1-9% grayed out)Kind regards,
