I don’t live to a specific schedule and I don’t like pointless notifications or my equipment in use when it does not need to be, I’m having to go into record, email and push disabling/enabling when I’m home or away usually via my phone app. I also can’t turn on one camera like my driveway when I’m out back unless I use the scheduler which is more buttons to click. The control is there to use them how they suit me, but it requires a lot of navigation and enabling. A simple and optional feature that would work for unscheduled control would simply be a screen where there’s a one switch to Disable/Enable all Surveillance options, be able to choose all cameras or choose individual cameras (I will refer to this as Global control for reference below). …. It appears all surveillance options can be enabled and If I don’t want something enabled, it can be left unset or disabled through scheduler.This control could be improved to work along side the scheduler. I’d imagine the user would need to define Surveillance enabled defaults for Global control. If enabled via global controls, it overrides schedule. If disabled via global/granular controls it disables to next scheduled enabling enables it, you could get more technical with a confirmation prompt when disabling to warn it is currently running under schedule and won’t enable till…
