@joseph_1979 Everything listed above was already tried before submitting for help here. The screen is blank in obs no matter if it's in preview or through obs projector. So far I've tried the sub feed and main . H264 and H265. There's no sound , so it definitely has something to do with OBS blocking it in some way. Three different OBS versions were installed, just trying to eliminate some factors. Also, tried 2 different desktop setups just incase the settings are conflicting on my main. When you say you tried the "cx versions" are you referring to a older model like the cx410 or cx810(same lense) with firmware update?Like I said in the previous posts... VlC works, direct camera ip works, streaming from chrome work's and the camera is visible on the local network. Https, rtsp and onvif are all checked in the reolink software.I ended up resorting to desktop capturing the image and listening(audio beta) to the reolink app in order for it to be visible.Trying to figure this out as intended but I've been unsuccessful so far. Anything else you can think of I might be able to try would be greatly appreciated!
@joseph_1979 Unfortunately, none of this works. I do have onvif and rtsp enabled in advanced settings, along with https. No matter what I do I can not get video or sound to projector via adding through media source. Anti-virus is disabled, firewall is disabled. Security settings allow camera and obs to be used under camera security. I was wondering if it has something to do with the h265 codec as only see the hvec for selecting under stream. I believe that's what h265 Is.Also, on reolink download center the cx820 is not even listed for a device, nor is the firmware update available. The only device available is the cx810 (bullet form) for a FW update. Only reason I ended up buying this camera is to live stream. I have it fully functional, with great clarity on vlc, reolink app and browser direct ip. For whatever reason it just seems it will not pick it up in obs. All of my webcams pop up, desktop video captures fine.Once again, I appreciate the response and help. This thread doesn't let me respond for 24hrs for becoming a new user to the community.
I've basically tried everything I can think of. I successfully connect in VLC when doing a camera test. I copy and paste same settings in obs just like reolink provides to do in the video and it's just blank screen. I've restarted obs, un-installed obs and re-installed again. Tried sub and main for streams, disabled firewalls, disabled defender. Added both exceptions throughout firewall for obs and reolink. Firmware seems to be correct/up to date.My connection via wired poe and ethernet are excellent and both video through reolink client app and VLC are flawless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
