I agree with these two option requests.I really don't need to record myself mowing my lawn, or cleaning the pool...
I would try the upgrade again, I had to do it twice before it worked for me.
Ok, after looking again, I found the email toggle;>)but it still would be handy to be able to invoke the email and push across all cameras with one toggle...
I would like to see the android app open to the camera that caused the push notification when I get an alert instead of whichever camera was the last one viewed.Just listing some improvements that think would make this system even better. It is getting better with the latest updates, so I'm not complaining, just making some suggestions. Thanks for your considerations...
I do not see a toggle to switch off email, what I would like to see is one toggle to turn off emails/push notifications for all cameras that could be reenabled without going through each cameras settings.Just one button to disable all notifications and motion detection recording would really be nice. That way when I get home and mow the grass it does not take 5 minutes of programming my cameras to stop all of the wasted bandwidth and hdd wear and tear just to see myself mowing my lawn...
Also I was wondering what does "Automatically Live" do in the android app? When I click on the 3 bars upper lefthand corner and click on settings, top entry.
I would like to see the split screen setting become "sticky"IOW when I select camera's 1-8 on my 16 camera nvr to be shown in the 9 screen configuration it would be nice if it stayed selected when I close the client software, or the mobile app.
I second that vote for user ability to choose automatic live feed.
I was having remote connection problems too, upgraded nvr/camera firmware and after a little tinkering with a few settings everything is working great. The UI is a little klunky and hard to get around in, but once you find your way and get past the bugs it seems to work, I am new to security camera systems but not to computers and I am not afraid to admit that there was a rather steep learning curve to get everything working to my liking, ymmv...
I just updated my firmware with the beta, and now my nvr reboots every hour or so, but on the other hand it seems that I can remotely connect to my cameras now
