See attached, same camera, same time. Camera runs through a separate POE switch and is not directly connected to the NVR but the NVR see's it and adds it. If you access directly to the camera you have the option to turn off IR lights (verified that it does turn them off), if you access through the NVR the option does not exist. Personally I would expect a Reolink NVR to have access to all the settings of a Reolink camera. I would assume this should be a simple update as the function is already there.Direct Camera accessNVR acessNVR-access.pngcamera-access.png
Please make sure the place you install the camera has ample light if you turn off the infrared LED. You can refer to Which Reolink Camera Supports Infrared Lights Option to learn more about the PoE camera that supports infrared LED.
Carl the OP already stated "by installing separate IR illuminators", his question was can he turn off the cameras IR. Why can they be turned off when you log directly into the cameras but not when you go thru the NVR (windows client)?
My latest 5MP 410's can do this but...the option is not available when the cameras are directly hooked up to the reolink NVR, only when powered from a POE switch, assigned a IP on my network and logged into directly. Now why can you change the option when logging into the camera vs NVR... Who knows.
