@joseph_1979 ok if ReoLink isn't roadmapping a Smart lock for access control, could a Mobile App feature be added to enable a user a few customisable buttons be added, so a web hook/rest or MQTT could be triggered which could integrate with other Smart home software, so locks etc be opened. As often we need to be viewing the security screen and allowing entry for deliveries etc.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 cameras are good for passively monitoring situations, but we really want to respond. 2 way audio is great step forward, as is Reolink Doorbell, but the next actionable insight is access control. I've been Reolink fan for many years for my farms/sheds and city home and offices. Lack of integrated camera access control , with 2 way audio, is forcing me to switch over to Eufy for all cameras too, after considerable investment in Reolink.

We need a WiFi/PoE door lock for access control like the Eufy WiFi Smart Door lock (sorry this post doesn't allow URLs), which integrates with the Reolink Doorbell, and Camera apps. It would be better than Eufy if additionally it had: MQTT integration, recharges its battery via wireless charging door strike plate. Which could be powered by either 5v USB or 6v to 12v existing bell wiring. A door lock with integrated fish-eye camera and door bell button. 2 way smooth audio is a must, although this could be offloaded and may be preferred via the separate Reolink Doorbell.

@reolink-fiona Local MQTT and Webhooks support would be ideal for this, to enable home smart automations. Like if Camera A triggers movement detection, other cameras D and F, can be triggered to record, or turn on a spotlight, or trigger sirens. I have farm Garages and Sheds where if a garage or shed door opens, I want to trigger Camera recording, outdoor spotlights, Indoor lighting and notification on my phone only if 2 area are accessed. Theres too many alerts from false positives, and often i want alerting ONLY IF certain complex conditions occur. Reolink can't do all this, so offering MQTT integration enabling it to talk with other devices through a common protocol would be a key advantage!
