You can turn up the volume of your phone to control the volume of your Argus 2 camera. And please make sure you’ve enabled the two-way audio correctly, you can refer to enable Two-way Audio via Reolink App to check it.If the person outside still can’t hear the person inside, please take a video and send an email to the support@reolink.com. We will check it for you soon. Thanks.
I have enabled two-way audio as per the directions on that page and tried turning the volume to the max on my phone, but the volume from the speaker on the camera is far too low. I honestly don't understand how adjusting the volume on my phone is supposed to affect the camera, but I tried it anyways.I know the speaker is capable of going much louder because the voice prompts during setup were plenty loud. However, indoors in complete silence, I can barely make out a voice unless the person is yelling into their phone. That is beyond unacceptable. I don't understand why there isn't just a simple volume slider in the app to control the volume of the speaker. An option such as this would be very beneficial because when the camera is used outdoors there is background noise from nature or cars passing by, so it would be great to have it at max volume. While indoors you could use a quieter volume if you wanted.
Hi guys,I’m to update you this request has been adopted and will come true soon.By the way, can you guys share you thoughts on when the status indicator is switched off, how to judge its working status any other way?I’ll give an example-one day you can no more login the camera, you used to be able to tell the camera loses connection if you see a red indicator on the camera lens, but now, nothing. The cameras won’t tell a clue and you just can’t login it no more. What will you do? Come on guys, let me hear your voices ?
Was the option to disable the blinking status light ever added? There is no harm in adding the option and leaving the light on by default if you want. I don't enjoy seeing the light blinking as it draws too much attention when not in use, especially when used indoors. I do enjoy having the light on to let me know when the camera is in use, however. I much prefer the Arlo cameras I have which have no status light at all. I also liked the suggestion about having the status light only come on when the camera loses connection, but when it's working perfectly I don't require nor do I want to see this constant blinking light.
