@brandinoa_341775868170492 Yes, go to record under surveillance to check the setting.
@sean-evans_651097387884602 Connecting cameras to the PoE switch is the way to go. Router these days comes with gigabit ports so 8 cameras should be fine. Some switches come with 2 uplink ports but it is unnecessary in your case. You want to avoid connecting the cameras to the NVR as this ads NVR dependency to your cameras. Often, NVR firmware is behind in supporting new camera features. With PoE switch, you are connecting directly to your cameras and have full access to all the features the cameras provide.
@nacster_1969 You download client app from Reolink so you should keep the old copy like I do. Lucky me, I run Mac Client and haven't had all the issues that Windows users are having. As for iOS, you have to go thru App Store, so Reolink can't help you getting the old version.
The new iOS 16 is quite impressive and it allows widgets to be displayed on locked screen. It would be really nice for Reolink to implement a widget so user can simply launch the app from locked screen with a single tap.
@christian-meneghini_543174703677572 On a battery camera like argus 3 pro, people, pet and car have their own detection zone. It is not quite what you are asking but close. Not sure why PoE cameras haven't gotten the feature yet. We just have to keep asking I guess.
Just wondering when we should expect to see the iOS rich notification?
