I'm using Client 22.214.171.124 and have been for a while monitoring an NVR with 6 cams and 3 stand-alone cams. I think most of your issues are bandwidth related. I can watch the 6 NVR cams in 'fluent' but the images are distorted and jerky (not 30 fps). I can watch one cam in 'balanced' or 'clear' and the image is very good and smooth. I've checked my wifi speed at the NVR location and it's ~2MB upload. If I hold my cursor over the little globe (top right of the client) I see a single clear camera uses almost 1MB. Playback is similar. If I play back in 'fluent' it is not a good image and jerky. I can playback in 'clear' but only one camera at a time (be sure all others are stopped). But I agree that the Client software has some very peculiar operating methods and due to the almost total lack of up-to-date documentation, we are forced to experiment trial and error.By the way, I don't feel the need for 30 fps so I set the cam for 15 or 10. That reduces the required bandwidth quite a bit.The nature of compressed video transmission is that any losses in data are multiplied causing very large image issues. So asking your Client to only display images your network can fully support will result in for good images. Hope that helps
Hi everyone,When I try to access the camera settings - little gear under 'device list' - some items won't fill in and just display a screen with the option choices but the current settings are not updating and are blank. If I restart the client I can usually see the missing settings but after a short time, the problem starts again. I've noticed this when I try to see 'encode' or 'general' choices. As a consequence, I have to keep closing and reopening the client. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a solution?reolink-options.jpg
