I have three devices, the Argus 2 and 2 Argus PT's. I have never been able to get the Argus 2 to connect with Alexa. I cannot get it to send an audio or any kind of PIR alert to my android or PC. I have made sure that the skill for Reolink is enabled, but when I use Alexa to search for new devices Alexa never reports the Argus 2 as a new device even after a full reset and reprogramming of the camera whereas both of the PTs show up every time. In addition, if I try to show the Argus 2 on my Amazon Show 8 2nd generation 2021 Alexa says that device is not available whereas both of the PTs respond immediately. I have a feeling that the Argus 2 is not compatible and I'm wasting my time. Anyone got any input on this?
I am using the PT camera which is working fine on android on my phone, Windows etc. my problem is viewing the camera on my Echo show eight second generation. I have configured Reolink through the cloud and the camera shows as a device in Alexa and I got an email saying that the camera is indeed connected with the camera and the camera shows as an active device in Alexa. For some reason the Echo show when I give the command to show the front porch camera says okay and then shows waiting for Reolink two or three times and then says that device is not supported. I have tried everything I can think of to get this to work with no luck whatsoever. Anybody have any ideas?
