I have a Reolink E1 front door camera with Windows, iOS, and Android apps. I bought a Fire HD 10 tablet a few months ago and mounted it on the wall to continuously display that camera. It works fine, but this Fire tablet keeps annoyingly resetting to the home screen every few hours, while the Windows and iOS devices are continuously displaying the camera day after day.

Under the tablet Developer Options, I have “Stay Awake” turned on, so it’s not “going to sleep” the screen stays illuminated, but abandons the camera app back to the home screen.

It’s not a wi-fi issue, signal strength to the tablet in 100% (it’s located about ten feet from our router). It’s also not a power issue, the tablet is continuously plugged in, so it’s battery level continuously shows full charge.

The tablet is running the latest OS update.

What might be causing this? Is there a tablet setting somewhere to enable continuous app operation that I’ve missed, or is this a known quirk in the Reolink Android app?
