I am looking for a doorbell camera that has successfully confirmed working with Reolink nvr rln8-410e ?

I know Reolink doesn't make a doorbell camera but does anybody here in the forum have success with an aftermarket one working with reolink nvr ?

I would like to know since i already have the regular 5mp poe dome cameras and a RLN8-410-E NVR.

If i purchase the new RLC-510A 5MP PoE IP Camera with Person/Vehicle Detection

will this work with my nvr (RLN8-410-E ) or do i need another one and will the person and car detection work on it and also on the app ?

. Is it possible to integrate human detection in a firmware update? This would alleviate any issues with false positives.

This would be a great idea if Reolink can do it.

I hope they do soon as the regular app almost works on the tv they just need to tweak it . I mean the hardest part is already done.Shouldnt be that hard to just tweak it for android TV.

But i wouldn't keep my hopes up as I have already emailed the suggestion and according to this forum it dates back 2-3 years clients are asking for a TV app. They would sell more cameras if they had one.

So far nothing,just a thank you and we will pass message to team.

I agree Reolink you need to fix the motion detection. Maybe on a firmware upgrade ?

I have my new 5mp dome nvr kit and put setting super low to 7 and still get shadow notifications and many false alerts.

Seems it might be awhile as this posts back 2 years on some threads people were asking for one.

If not will just get a firestick and try your way.

Swann already has Google integration on the nvr. Not sure on Lorex.
But I still love my Reolink
Just wish I had google ?

Since my reolink cameras also support sd cards, and cameras are all connected to a reolink nvr.
My question is will the cameras record to both nvr and sd card at the same time ?
I am guessing motion only on sd card and 24/7 on nvr .
Any disadvantage to this ?
Will it slow down processor as its recording to both or delay image.

So i have a RLK8-420D4 kit and realize google integration is not yet out and not sure if its planned anytime soon for reolink nvrs.

So i was wondering my poe dome cameras 420-5mp with sd card have latest firmware 515 that suppose to work with google home.
If i connect all cameras to a poe switch , and connect switch to router.
Then connect nvr to router only.
Will nvr still record, and can i then use google assistance on the cameras as they will all have there own ip address ?

Any ideas if this will work as cameras will be independant of nvr.

New to the forum, but just bought the RLK8-420D4 5mp kit along with another 5mp dome camera.

My question is i would love to see live view from my cameras to my tv.

I have an android tv box and tryed the mobile app there even though its not made for it and was wondering since its all android it might just need some fixing to make it work. According to web developers most of it is already there as there is a mobile app, so should be feasable.

Does reolink have any future plans to make a working android tv app ?
