Before realizing new features better fix your old problems! Is the shitty autofocus fixed now with the new firmware?
can you tell with what PTZ you have replaced the 423? I don't use the Reolink NVR, I use SurveillanceCam on a Synology NAS as a NVR.Oliver
Any news to the RLC423 autofocus issue?
We received your feedback and understand how bad you need this feature. It is under processing.
Got a compleately different answer from your support: due to hardware limitations it's not possible to store focus information with the view presets. This makes the RLC-423 a toy and not a surveillance camera. In more than 80% of the situations, the camara is not able to get a sharp picture after changing the view position.Oliver
this is good news. Hopefully it doesn't take a decade to implement No jokes, if you need a cam for fieldtest, I'm happy to help you testing!Regards, Oliver
If I knew this forum before, I hadn't bought the RLC423. I very dissapointed about the performance of this cam. Autofocus is unusable, most of the time the cam shows a blurry picture. Most annoying is that the focus setting is not stored if you set a camera preset.I hope there's a fix soon(tm)
Supporting full manual focus on pre-sets would be an excellent way to allow those of us having problems to at least mitigate the problem. Everything else is great!
I really support that!
Any news to this topic? The autofocus is still shitty ....
I do not understand why there is no option to disable autofocus at all. The stored camera position should also store the actual focus setting besides lens position and zoom level. Then the focus would't be a problem. With the actual (shitty) autofocus the cam is simply not usable as a surveillance cam.Just my 2 cents.Oliver
