Hi, I think perhaps my suggestion was taken out of context, I am very happy with the quality and price of the system I have RLK8-800B4 in my experience so far. My suggestion was to understand if the control software as explained may have an additional control added to set the amount of frame variation. I understand fully that false alerts cannot be ruled out entirely. I just thought that if this addition to the software was made it would enhance the quality of the product adding to the controls that already exist for masking etc.
I just cant seem to get the sensitivity right for my cameras, and then I noticed that the number of notifications I get are due to clouds passing and changing the whole frame colour density causing alerts to trigger. Would it be possible to provide a density frame change control whereby you can set the volume of the screen that changes before raising an alarm for example if more than 80% of the screen changes then dont raise an alarm. I find this most irritating on a cloudy sunny day when the constant change to the image frame colour density is raising alarms every few seconds. The same also occurs when a car is passing at night and the headlights reflect across the building or parked cars.
