@crimp-on_62210811129 Yes can be done like that just adds more work or cost to it over other brands of floodlight cams. 90% of my wireless cams are reolink but they are all solar powered so didnt have any issues with those and wiring. For convenience and not having to drill holes in houses or soffit to run wires inside or having to incur costs to install a new outlet to power the camera i will be installing another brands floodlight cam.
