Why wouldn't you just file a bug? Why push this off to a customer?

Nothiung but a money grab. They knew full well that flash had a short shelf life. Flash has been on the DIVEST notice for YEARS.

It doesn't look like you intend on providing updated firmware for IPC_3816M cameras stating they are 'old' This issue with flash isn't something that happened over night. This was planned for YEARS to be desupported yet you took the stance of waiting till the last minute to update cameras and to leave 'working' camera models broken. You deployed the IPC_3816M for example KNOWING it had a short shelf life due to flash yet now you are unwilling to fix it.

I've begun modifying all my reviews on amazon for all the cameras I've purchased over the years. I encourage others to do so as well. Telling your customers they need to replace the cameras because you implemented a DIVEST technology when they were built is unacceptable and a PURE money grab.
