Still true.
The amount of spam this forum gets is insane. It is not lost of me that this post is essentially spam by the way.
I was able to fix my issue by simply cleaning the dome inside and out. Now it appears it will just be general "maintenance" to keep things clean.
Just to finalize the post, markspaw's idea worked great and proved that it's being streamed locally.Thanks.
... I know for a fact when my Internet provider is offline I can still access and see in real time video on my local network/LAN...
This is an interesting test which I could do pretty easily. Great idea!
RLC-422 x4
When I am viewing my camera(s) on my iPad, is the stream coming from a local/internal source or is it going "out" then back "in" to the app (ie: through the internet). When I have a stream up for an extended period I will get a "poor network" message. This wants me to switch over to "balanced".I have never got this message when using the desktop app or browser interface. Thanks
They are RLC-422's. I was hoping it was just the dome and not the lens itself however I will clean both to check. In terms of installation, they (the camera housing/dome) are currently placed where I want them but I have not moved the position of the lens as of yet.Mostly I was hoping this wasn't a hardware defect but it appears it may just be cleaning/positing of lens (which I plan on attempting as soon as I can).
I just installed four cameras on the weekend and have noticed something that is a bit concerning.Looking at the attached screenshots you'll notice that in the one below, when it is truly dark outside, night vision appears to be showing a "blur" effect on the outer edges. Now, to be fair, this could be that I haven't cleaned the dome since installation.Playing devils advocate on myself, I've also attached another screenshot. While not taken at the same time, it was dark enough to turn on night vision. There is no visible "blur" at this time.Has anyone else had this issue? I'm hoping that it's a matter of cleaning the dome but am also worried about that viewed in the secondary screenshot, that night vision was pretty clear before it was too dark outside. Thanks for any help.Screen-Shot-2019-09-11-at-10.47.41-PM.pngScreen-Shot-2019-09-11-at-10.49.55-PM.jpg
